There are so many photographers out there. Why should we pick you?
The truth is that there are probably only a handful of photographers that will be a great fit for you. Things such as personality, photographic style, budget, and experience will all matter to you. So here it is: I am honest. I am great with your friends and family. I am are great at what I do. I am not the cheapest nor am I the most expensive. But, there is a reason they say, “You get what you pay for.” Even if I am not the best fit for you, feel free to contact and ask for advice; I would love to get you in contact with some of my great photographer friends!
Can I see a full wedding?
Absolutely! I actually encourage it. You can e-mail me at email@example.com and I would love to show you some full wedding galleries.
How can I book Heather Cantrelle Photography for my wedding?
Please use the "contact" page in the menu at the top left of this website to fill out our short form. I will then tell you if I am available for your wedding date and send you additional information on my wedding collection and pricing. Please note that each year I receive several inquiries, and I can only hold these dates with a signed agreement and retainer.
How far in advance should I book you?
You should book your photographer as soon as you know you’ve found the one! The most coveted Saturdays book up 12-18 months in advance!
How does Heather Cantrelle Photography define its style?
The word photojournalistic gets tossed around a lot, but what we live for is those authentic real moments. I try to be as non-obtrusive as possible for most of the wedding day to allow you to live your special day! I do combine those moments with some of our creative couples and bridal portraits that will create a full wedding gallery that is not only authentic, but also beautiful.
Do you travel for weddings?
Absolutely! All that is required is airfare and lodging in addition to a package selection.
How many photos will we get and how long does it take?
I don’t have a set number and it all really depends on the size, length and amount of details of your wedding. Expect anywhere from 500-700 for the average 8 hour wedding. I aim to have your photos in an online gallery ready for viewing in 4-6 weeks.
Do I get the copyright for the pictures?
As the creator of the photos we do retain copyright but like most photographers we grant a print release which allows you to print at any lab of your choosing and share your photos as much as you want.
Do I get the RAW files?
Nope. Part of hiring me is my curation and editing of your wedding day photos. Documenting the day is only part of what a professional photographer does. It takes a lot experience in post production to get to just the right look that I intended when I captured the image, not to mention the special software. What you will get is high resolution images of a finished product.
Feel free to e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will try my best to answer your question within 24 hours.
